Tour to Machu Picchu: 2-Day, 1-Night Adventure
The tour starts on Day 1 with a journey from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, followed by a 4-hour train ride to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, there is free time to explore Aguas Calientes. On Day 2, visitors embark on a guided tour of Machu Picchu and have additional free time to explore the site. The day ends with a 6-hour return journey to Cusco.
Bus Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes.
- 09:30 a.m. We start with the pick-up of our clients, and then drive with a travel time of 2 hours to the train station in Ollantaytambo.
- 12:00 p.m. We board the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu), with a travel time of 2 hours.
- 14:45 p.m. Arrival to the town of Aguas Calientes. Here our tour guide will guide you, towards your accommodation, also you will have free time to visit the town of Aguas Calientes and the thermal-medicinal baths.
Tour in Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco
- 06:00 a.m. Departure to the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu by bus.
- Entrance to the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, where the guided tour takes place for 2 hours. We will visit the most important places of the Sanctuary such as: the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Royal Cemeteries and much more. Then you will have free time to enjoy the scenery that surrounds us.
- Return by bus to Aguas Calientes. Where you will have a quiet lunch, visit the thermal baths or stroll through the village and visit the craft market.
- 6:30 p.m. You will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, with a travel time of 2 hours.
- 22:30 p.m. Finally the return to the city of Cusco.
